    Materials:

Plastic shrink sheets: clear, opaque, or colored
    Scissors
    Permanent markers
    Hole punch
    Yarn
    Bottle caps
    Hot glue
    Picture to trace
    A cookie sheet
    Aluminum foil
    An oven mitt
    A toaster oven
Optional: Colored pencils, fine sandpaper and suction cup hooks
    One adult

    1. Draw or trace a picture on the plastic sheet with a permanent marker (figure A). Optional: If you use colored pencils you need to lightly sand the sheet so that the colors will be more intense.

    2. Color in your design (figure B).

    3. Cut out your design, leaving a small border. Punch a hole in it if you desire (figure C) in case you want to hang it.

    4. Place the plastic on an aluminum foiled covered cookie sheet, color side up. Bake at 250 degrees or less for three to five minutes (figure D). It needs to heat very slowly so that it shrinks evenly. It will curl as it heats. Hint: If after 5 or 6 minutes it has not straightened out, have an adult pull it out of the oven, uncurl it, and put it back in the oven for another minute. Take it out and let it cool.

    5. If desired, thread yarn in holes to hang OR hot glue to the top of a bottle cap so you can stand it up.
Tip: Have an adult supervise when you use scissors, hot glue, and an oven.

Products: All products available at craft, art supply, and all-purpose stores nationwide.

Guest Donna Casey gave the girls a couple of ideas for their pajama parties. She told them to choose a theme (colors, etc.) that is personal to them. She also suggested that the activities they plan are ones that the entire group can participate in and enjoy.
